Rinnai Marks Major U.S. Expansion with New Commercial Manufacturing Facility in Georgia
PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. (April 30, 2026) — Rinnai America Corporation, a leading manufacturer of innovative, energy-efficient water heating and home comfort solutions, on April 29 celebrated the grand opening of its new Rinnai America Commercial Manufacturing Facility and Distribution Center in Griffin, Georgia, marking the company’s third property in the region and a continued investment in its U.S. operations.
The ribbon cutting ceremony brought together local officials, partners and community members, including Griffin Mayor Doug Hollberg and State Rep. Beth Camp, R-Concord, followed by guided tours of the new facility.
The 306,000-square-foot facility currently supports assembly, distribution and training operations, enhancing capacity and reinforcing Rinnai’s ability to anticipate demand across product lines. The site serves as a primary manufacturing hub for Rinnai’s commercial water heating products, including Demand Duo systems and Tankless Rack Systems. Designed for high-capacity, energy-efficient hot water delivery, these solutions support multifamily housing, hospitality and other large-scale applications. The location also functions as a major distribution center for finished goods and service parts, supporting customer fulfillment and aftermarket operations.
“This investment reflects our confidence in the future of our business and our commitment to serving customers across North America,” said Frank Windsor, President, Rinnai America Corporation. “It strengthens our ability to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions while equipping the PROs who rely on us every day to help create a healthier way of living.”
The site currently employs approximately 50 people and is positioned for future workforce growth across manufacturing, logistics and support functions as production needs increase.
The expansion builds on recent momentum in Griffin, including a visit last year from U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright, which highlighted the company’s role in supporting American manufacturing and advancing energy policy priorities.
The addition builds on Rinnai’s existing Griffin operations, increasing manufacturing capacity, streamlining logistics and consolidating shipping into a single distribution point. Rinnai began moving into the facility in February, with operations commencing in March. Rinnai partnered with leading organizations to bring the project to life, including PNK Group, which supported development and construction.
“PNK Group is pleased to be partnering with Rinnai to assist in their continued growth and expansion in the Southeast. We were very excited to have built for them an industry-leading manufacturing facility,” said Mark Stiles, Partner, PNK Group.
Rinnai also worked with Savills, which advised on the transaction and site selection process.
“It was a privilege to partner with Rinnai on this important project, bringing together the full strength of our team to guide the real estate process from strategy through execution and deliver an outcome that aligns with Rinnai’s long-term strategic objectives,” said Max Schneider, Senior Managing Director for Savills.
The new location underscores Rinnai’s ongoing commitment to innovation, operational excellence and supporting the PROs who rely on its products every day. With five decades in North America and more than 100 years globally, Rinnai continues to invest in infrastructure that supports long-term performance and reliability.
