PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. (January 9, 2018) – Rinnai Corporation, manufacturer of the number-one selling brand of tankless gas water heaters in North America, is creating a one-of-a-kind experience during this year’s International Builders’ Show (IBS) on January 9-11, 2018, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

With the construction of their largest IBS booth to date, Rinnai is focused on showcasing their innovative thinking with the unveiling of three new products: Rinnai’s next generation Sensei™ Tankless Water Heater, the new M-Series Condensing Boiler and the latest version of the Demand Duo™ Hybrid Commercial Water Heating System. The space will also include an interactive Virtual Reality (VR) product experience and a home automation demonstration and will give attendees a glimpse into the full line of Rinnai products.

NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH

The 2018 IBS Show marks the first time the public will get a look at Rinnai’s three new product offerings. The Sensei Tankless Water Heater, for the residential and commercial markets, and the M-Series Condensing Boiler, for the residential market, have both been reimagined with a focus on improved ease of installation, performance enhancements and serviceability.

The Demand Duo® 80 Hybrid Water Heating System is a versatile line extension of the original. Initially available in a 119-gallon version, the new 80-gallon unit offers a flexible solution that combines the best of both tank and tankless technologies.

“Rinnai is committed to enhancing lives by changing the way water is heated,” said Frank Windsor, Chief Operating Officer. “All three new products have been expressly designed to meet and exceed the needs and expectations of our customers.”

The new products combine best practices in both engineering and technology advancements to measure up to the same quality and reliability that defines the Rinnai brand around the globe.

THE RINNAI VIRTUAL REALITY EXPERIENCE

This year’s booth will also see the unveiling of an entirely new way to interact with Rinnai’s Tankless Water Heaters: A VR experience. The 3-minute-long simulation sees attendees don the latest HTC Vive VR Headset and hand controllers to virtually tear out a rusty old tank water heater and replace it with a new Sensei Tankless model. Surrounded by a virtual workspace, the user is guided by voice instructions on the updated installation process.

“It’s a new and inventive way to really wrap your head around everything the new Sensei Tankless Water Heater has to offer,” said Mark Buss, Vice President of Marketing. “It’s fun, interesting and totally cutting edge, just like our new products.” Designed to be both entertaining and informative, the immersive VR technology allows the user to get a firsthand look at the ease of installation and overall feel of the new product.

HOME AUTOMATION DEMONSTRATION AND ADDITIONAL BOOTH FEATURES

In another first, Rinnai will be showcasing how the Sensei Tankless Water Heater syncs up directly with Amazon’s Alexa Intelligent Personal Assistant. “Attendees will be able to learn all about new ways to connect with our products, including through home automation technologies like Alexa,” said Buss.

Other booth features include a coffee bar, a second-floor break-out meeting space and a large collection of Rinnai products and parts. Products on display include tankless water heaters, hybrid-tankless products, condensing boilers, direct-vent furnaces and commercial tankless water heating solutions. A Rinnai spokesperson and employees will be on hand all three days of the event to answer any product questions and accommodate customer needs.
